A Note from David

I created Cardio Natural after my own heart-health wake-up call changed the way I looked at food, habits, support, and everyday choices.

Artery-First Cooking was designed to make heart-health supportive eating feel calmer, simpler, and more realistic. It is not about strict rules or perfection. It is about simple meals, better flavor, and small steps you can actually repeat.

If this book helps you feel even a little more confident about what to make next, that matters.

  • I haven't tried all the recipes as of yet but the ones I have, have been very good. The sauces help to enhance flavor and add a richness to the dish. I have tried the Lemon EVOO with the Tuna and Cannellini Bean Salad and the Yogurt Herb Tzatziki with the Salmon Cakes. My husband really liked the Tzatziki on the fish as he is a sauce guy and it was a good substitute for tartar sauce! I also appreciate the information given with each recipe as to the health benefits of each ingredient. I am finding that I personally need a little salt as the recipes have none. My husband and I have been on a weight loss a journey and this is a good for that also.
